Hi, I’m Tiffany Hammond! I’m an autistic author, wife, and proud mom of two amazing autistic teenagers. We all live in Texas with our dog Charlie (chief snuggler) and our cat Pretzel (master of naps). When I’m not wrangling my boys or wondering why my pets run the house, I’m usually collecting pens (because you can never have too many) or socks (because why not?).
I’ve got a master’s degree in developmental psychology, with a focus on childhood development, but my real expertise comes from living and breathing the everyday joys and challenges of being autistic and raising children with the same diagnosis. My mission? To show the world that autism isn’t some doom-and-gloom diagnosis—don’t get me wrong, it can be incredibly difficult, but it’s also a journey full of love, growth, and yes, plenty of laughs. I aim to shake up outdated perspectives and explore how intersectionality shapes our experiences.
Oh, and did I mention I love pie? Because I do. A lot.
Stick around if you’re into stories that make you think, laugh, and maybe even question a few things.
Welcome to the wild world of Tiffany!
